UPDATE:
Hello, everyone!
To answer some queries and comments made regarding the recent announcement on the signing of clearance forms, please see the following statements.
Starting July 1, 2020, students who wish to have their clearance forms signed by the different laboratories and offices of CDU for graduation purposes or other reasons and who reside in areas under GCQ may do so as long as they are able to travel to CDU without any restriction. Those residing in ECQ areas may have their clearance forms signed once the ECQ status is changed to GCQ. In either instance, if a particular student is not allowed to go out of his or her residence because he or she is below 21 years of age, he or she can ask someone else to do this task for him or her as long as this person is not 60 years old or above, with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, or other health risks, or pregnant, or is a person who resides with the aforementioned.
Students are considered to have graduated once they have fulfilled all academic requirements and their instructors have encoded their final grades.
The official date of graduation is August 1, 2020. Official Transcripts of Records, Transfer Credentials, SHS Form 137, and diplomas shall be released not earlier than 2 weeks after final marks have been encoded, after the request shall have been filed, and after the student’s clearance form has been signed by all the offices indicated in the form.
